Edson was raised in a family of musicians, and therefore since an early age he showed interest in musical instruments.

He was born in Rio Claro, a town in the inner state of São Paulo, in Brazil, where he did his first steps as a musician. At the age of 17, he joined the “Dramatic and Musical Conservatory of Tatuí” having as his master Professor Mário Campos.

At that time he was already producing music with several groups of different musical styles.

In the FestValda/98, he won third-place prize with his Himen Blues Band, which became the support band for the Pastilhas Valda Events.

By joying the band Fulanos de Tal, he performed on several TV and Radio Stations in São Paulo State countryside. When recording Fulanos de Tal’s CD, Roger, the leading singer from Ultraje a Rigor Band, had a special part on it.

Coming to São Paulo City at the age of 23 was an important step towards the development of his career. The possibility of studying with great masters, like Celso Pixinga and Itamar Collaço, allowed him to improve his musical technique.

By 2001 he joined singer Ralf’s Band and at the same year, Chrystian e Ralf’s Band.

That was the entrance door to many interesting works yet to come. Edson worked with many singular artists in their styles, like Leonardo, Chrystian e Ralf, Zezé di Camargo e Luciano, Zezé Motta, Agnaldo Rayol, Jamily, Banda Estralo, Mazinho Quevedo, Aquiles Faneco, Mauricio Cailet.

Many of his recording works were done for famous artists, like Leonardo, Chrystian e Ralf, Agnaldo Timóteo, Banda Estralo, Aquiles Faneco, Mauricio Cailet, Jamily.

He took a part at the recordings of soap opera musical theme “Amor e Ódio” from TV channel SBT and “Pecado Mortal”from TV channel Record.

In 2009 he joined the band of Brazil’s most popular singer Leonardo, playing with him until 2018.

Edson took a part in several national audience TV shows, like Domingão do Faustão, Programa do Jô, Altas Horas, Xuxa, Caldeirão do Huck, Hebe Camargo, Ana Hickman, Ratinho, Viola Minha Viola, MTV, among others.
